Caroline & Blake’s summer wedding at Big Cedar Lodge’s iconic Top of the Rock in Southwest Missouri was bursting with color, personality, and all things fun!

What is your biggest priority for your wedding or what is most important to you?  Besides marrying the love of your life, of course ;) My biggest priority for my wedding is to create a really fun party that everyone will enjoy and remember. I envision an event that's elegant and timeless but still vibrant and full of life, with bright, beautiful colors like lime green, fuchsia, hot pink, magenta, and pops of purple and blue. I want the atmosphere to feel fresh and sophisticated, steering away from rustic, to truly reflect the joyful, celebratory vibe I'm going for.

What is your overall wedding style, feel, look, and/or atmosphere that you want to create for your celebration? timeless, elegant, but with some fun colors

What are your wedding colors? green, magenta, fuchsia, pink, blue, yellow - what I am thinking for flowers... Black bridesmaid dresses

What are you looking for in a wedding florist? I'm looking for a florist who can bring my vision of a vibrant, elegant, and timeless wedding to life. Someone who can balance elegance with bold, bright colors like lime green, magenta, hot pink, blue, purple, and greenery while avoiding an overly orange-heavy look.

Enjoy some highlights from their summer wedding timelessly captured by the ever-so-talented Sheri Holloway from Branson, MO.

The ladies got ready at the Bridal Suite, Cedar Creek Spa, at Big Cedar Lodge. Makeup was done by Airbrush by Andie, and hair styling by Diamonds and Do's.

Caroline’s favorite flowers are dahlias and orchids. I sourced pristine local dahlias along with tropical orchids into her bouquet, as well as garden roses, delphinium, garden roses and ranunculus.

The Bride made custom monogrammed satin ribbons for all of her bridesmaids bouquets. We attached them to the vases so everyone had their specially named bouquets, as well as the flower girl's basket.

The vibrant, colorful bouquets brought so much happiness to the day and the photots.

The couple chose the historic Chapel of the Ozarks, featuring antique pine wood doors, and a dramatic, large-scale window backdrop overlooking Table Rock Lake in Ridgedale, Missouri.

We designed two floral ground arrangments for the ceremony. These colorful and cheerful florals grounded the ceremony space and the cross, while keeping the view and the couple the main focus.

And how stunning is this chapel?!

Caroline has a passion for embroidery and made custom cocktail napkins for every single one of her guests! How memorable and thoughtful - they look amazing!

Their custom signage made by Caitlyn with Reverie Decor complimented the light blue detailing that they used in their invitations and place settings. The floral ground arrangements made a lovely accent to the signage and communicated to every guest that this is where the celebration begins.

And how adorable is this phone message experience?

Their reception was at Arnie’s Barn, which is a restaurant open to the public, overlooking the golf course. So on their wedding day, the restaurant was still open for public lunch! That meant we (the entire wedding vendor team) had less than 2 hours to transform this space from a restaurant to an elegant reception space. Every vendor arrived at the same time, since access to the venue was at 3pm. (The ceremony started at 5pm!) It was a race to unload; or so it felt. Everything from the rentals, signage, florals, band, cake, and more, we’re all hustling in the hot August weather, doing our best and working together to make this a streamlined process.

After 30 minutes, we all found our groove, and everything was intentionally placed and designed. Within 90 minutes, yes under TWO hours (!!), the entire venue was beautiful and ready! We had 30 minutes to spare and the photographer (Sheri Holloway and her team) did a great job snapping details and photos, in between the portraits and the ceremony.

We created three different floral centerpiece designs for the tables. The first design was a tall, grand centerpiece. The second was a low, lush compote centerpiece, and the third was a collection of 3 bud vases. This brought interest and depth to the space.

Allie Rose Events, the mastermind behind the day, as well as the lead planner and designer for the wedding, did an outstanding job encouraging the team and organizing the day! She is an invaluable asset to have for your wedding day! No stress, lots of adrenaline, and tons of joy (and quite a bit of hustle)!

I love how the fresh vines we added to the beams brings to much natural warmth against the rustic wood. It makes the space come alive.

I love how their wedding cake, designed by Charity Fent Cake Design, is a replication of Caroline's bridal gown.

From the Bride, Caroline: “Charity was so wonderful to work with! She made my vision come to life and I could never have imagined they would be so beautiful. She was full of suggestions and is so knowledgeable about flowers. It is so obvious that she loves flowers and it shows in her beautiful work. Highly recommend working with HLMF.”

Cheers to the dream team who made it all happen!
